Foster Awning is a family owned business . The Fosters purchased in the business 1984 from Bill and Mary Ipsen. Pat and Mike Foster have been proudly serving the La Crosse area ever since.

In 1994 Jay Hollnagel joined Foster Awning and is now serving as our manager and commercial and residential awning foreman.

The scope of our Awning division covers residential window and door awnings in canvas and aluminum, retractable awnings both motorized and manual operation. Our commercial division encompasses backlit awnings, storefront awnings, entrance canopies for sun and rain protection, window shading systems.

Our Boat Top Division is handled by Mike Foster. We work on a wide variety of boat sizes. From a 14' to 50' and even larger on the commercial Boats.  Mike Designs and fits the canvas. With our new 40' Bay we can work on bigger boats in all types of weather.

Mike also helped design and develop the Fastback Boat enclosure. It is now manufactured by Taylor marine Products. We still sell and install it, but have handed over the manufacturing to Taylor.

In March of 2004 we moved to our current facility at 528 Loomis St. It was a much needed improvement and works out very well.  Hope you come and visit us soon!
